Free korfball scoring app that knows the rules

Korfball is played by mixed teams shooting at a basket with no backboard, and every goal is one point. What a scoreboard has to handle is the clock: two halves, a 25-second shot clock that resets with every goal and attempt that hits the post, and golden goal overtime in knockouts. The app runs both clocks on the server and counts the goals and timeouts.

Senior games are two 25-minute halves, 30 in some top leagues, shorter for youth and school games. Start and pause from the phone; the clock lives on the server.

Korfball scoring app FAQ

How is korfball scored?

One point for every goal through the korf (the basket), from open play or a penalty. The team with more goals at the end wins.

Does korfball have a shot clock?

Yes, 25 seconds at senior level, reset after a goal or when the ball touches the post. It is on by default here and can be switched off for youth games.

Is there a free korfball scoreboard app?
