πŸ‘ Floorball

Free floorball scoring app that knows the rules

Floorball is played like ice hockey without the ice: three periods on a stopped clock, one point a goal, two-minute penalties, and a tied playoff game goes to sudden-death overtime and then penalty shots. The app keeps the period clock on the server, counts goals and penalties for each team and runs the penalty shots when a game needs them.

What is built in
  • Three 20-minute periods on a server-side clock
  • One tap per goal, penalty counter per team
  • Sudden-death overtime, then penalty shots
  • Rec, school and youth presets with shorter periods

Questions

Floorball scoring app FAQ

How long is a floorball game?

Three 20-minute periods at senior level with a stopped clock. Rec and youth games are often shorter, which is a setting here.

How do penalty shots work in floorball?

After overtime, each team takes five penalty shots, and if it is still level it goes to sudden death. The app counts them and ends the game when one team cannot be caught.

Is floorball the same as unihockey?

Yes, it is the same game under another name, and floor hockey is a close cousin. The same scoreboard works for all three.
