Score All on your phone

Score All full screen from its own icon, with no address bar. "You're up on Court 2" alerts arrive under Score All's name. Press and hold the icon for New match and Events. Every improvement to the site reaches the app by itself.

Installing it

1. Tap Download the app. If Chrome warns the file might be harmful, choose Download anyway: it says that about any app that does not come from the Play Store.
2. Tap Open when it finishes (or find it under Downloads in Chrome's menu).
3. The first time, Android asks to allow Chrome to install apps. Tap Settings, switch it on, then go back.
4. Tap Install. Google Play Protect may say App blocked to protect your device because it "hasn't seen an app from this developer before". That is about where the app comes from, not what it does: it says so about apps that are not in the Play Store yet. Tap More details, then Install anyway (not Got it, which cancels). It can ask again when you update.
5. Open Score All from your apps and log in once. It keeps you signed in.
6. Turn on notifications: the app shows a card with a Turn on notifications button the first time you open it. Tap it, then tap Allow. That is how Score All lets you know about your upcoming matches, tournaments, scores you follow and more.

Needs Android 8 or newer, with Chrome installed. When a new version of the app itself comes out, the app offers it, and long-pressing its icon → App version always shows which version you have. Updating? Install the new version over the one you have, then tap Open in the installer. What's new: The app now offers its own updates, and has an App version screen (long-press the icon). Notifications come from the Score All app itself, under its own name and icon.

Safari puts Score All on your Home Screen, where it opens full screen from its own icon, keeps you signed in and can send you notifications.

1. Open score-all.com in Safari and log in.
2. Tap the Share button (at the bottom of the screen on iPhone, top right on iPad). On newer iPhones, tap ⋯ first if you do not see it.
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, leave Open as Web App on, then tap Add.
4. Open Score All from your Home Screen from now on. You stay signed in.
5. Turn on notifications: the Home Screen app shows a card with a Turn on notifications button the first time you open it. Tap it, then tap Allow, so Score All can let you know about your upcoming matches, tournaments, scores you follow and more. iPhone only sends them to the Home Screen app, not to Safari.

Using Chrome on your iPhone? Its Share button in the address bar has Add to Home Screen too. Notifications need iOS 16.4 or newer.
