Run a Skull King tournament from a phone

Skull King is usually a table game, but two-player games make a tidy bracket: ten rounds, every bid and bonus scored the same way at every table. Score All runs the draw and the winner moves on the moment the tenth round is entered.

Every game uses Skull King rules
  • The console shows how many cards to deal every round, 1 up to 10
  • Bids and tricks per player, zero bids included; the Kraken's lost trick is allowed for
  • Bonuses counted for you: 14s, mermaids and pirates captured, the Skull King, loot
  • Skull King or Rascal's scoring, with the cannonball as a house rule

Two players per match

A bracket match has two sides, so tournament games are head to head. Tables of three to eight are scored one game at a time, not as bracket matches.

Same scoring everywhere

Pick Skull King or Rascal's scoring, the bonuses and the number of rounds once for the event. Five rounds makes a quick qualifying game.

Ties

A game level after the last round is a draw, and a drawn match does not advance anyone, so a round robin, which counts draws, suits Skull King best.
