Pinochle scoring has three parts, the bid, the meld and the counters taken in play, and one rule that decides every hand: the bidding side must reach its bid or lose it. Enter who won the bid and for how much, then each side's meld and counters, and the sheet scores the set or the save and keeps the running totals.

How pinochle scoring works
Pick the side that won the bid and the bid amount, then enter each side's meld and the counters it took. The counters must add up to the hand total (25 in modern counting, 50 in double-deck, 250 in classic or simplified), which catches a miscount before it is scored.
