How teqball scoring works

Teqball scoring is short and simple: every rally is a point, sets go to 12, and the serve switches every four points.

Sets to 12

The first player or pair to 12 points wins the set, and the match is best of three sets. Some clubs add a win-by-2 rule, which is a setting here.

Serving

The serve changes every four points, and a server gets two attempts to land a serve.

Touches

A side may touch the ball up to three times before returning it, never with the hands or arms and not with the same body part twice in a row.

Doubles

Two a side with the same scoring. Partners must pass to each other before the ball goes back over.

What Score All does with these rules

Sets to 12

Every rally is a point for whoever wins it. The first side to 12 takes the set, and two sets win the match.

Serving

The serve changes every four points. The console shows who serves next, so nobody has to count.

Singles and doubles

Doubles uses the same scoring with two a side. Pick the format when you create the match.

House rules

Win by 2 with a point cap, a shorter deciding set, a skunk rule and handicaps are all settings.
