How platform tennis scoring works
Platform tennis is scored exactly like tennis: 15-30-40, deuce and advantage, sets to six with a tiebreak at 6-6. The rule a scorer needs to know is that each point gets one serve.
Points, games and sets
Points run 15, 30, 40 and game, with deuce and advantage. Sets go to six games won by two, with a tiebreak at 6-6. A match is best of three sets.
One serve
There is no second serve: a fault loses the point.
The screens
Balls that bounce in the court and then hit the screen can still be played, which makes long rallies. A ball that hits the screen before bouncing is out.
Doubles
Platform tennis is played as doubles, with the serve alternating between the pairs every game.
What Score All does with these rules
The same scoring as tennis
Points run 15, 30, 40 and game, with deuce and advantage. Sets go to six games won by two with a tiebreak at 6-6, and a match is best of three sets.
One serve
There is no second serve: a fault loses the point. Tap the receiving pair when it happens.
Doubles
Platform tennis is played as doubles, so matches start that way. The serve alternates between the pairs every game and the console shows who is serving.
League nights
No-ad games, a 10-point match tiebreak in place of the third set and pro sets to 8 are presets, so a league can set them once.
