How Kan Jam scoring works
A two-on-two disc game where one partner throws and the other deflects, Kan Jam rewards teamwork. Every throw can score, and one kind of throw ends the game on the spot.
Dinger
The thrower releases the disc and the partner deflects it into the side of the can. One point.
Deuce
The disc hits the can directly, with no help from the partner. Two points.
Bucket
The disc goes into the can through the open top, usually off a deflection. Three points.
Slot
The disc goes through the slot in the front of the can. That is an instant win, whatever the score.
Exactly 21
The first team to exactly 21 wins. What happens when a team goes over depends on the rule set: the points come off the score, the throw does not count, or the team drops to a set score. Agree which one before the game.
What Score All does with these rules
Dinger, deuce, bucket
A dinger (the partner deflects the disc into the side of the can) is 1 point, a deuce (a direct hit on the can) is 2, and a bucket (the disc goes in through the top) is 3. Tap the button for each throw as it happens.
The slot
A disc through the front slot of the can wins the game instantly, whatever the score. The Slot button ends the game for that team after a confirmation; switch it off if your group does not play it.
Exactly 21
The game goes to exactly 21. Go over and, depending on your rule, the throw comes off your score, does not count, or drops you back to a set score. Pick one when you create the game.
